BACKGROUND:
  • Dugan Technologies was established in July of 1988 to provide professional sales representation in High Performance instruments and sensors. We are a California Company with the home office located in the Bay Area. Each of our sales engineers live in the territory for which they are responsible.
  • In 1999, we established our distribution business to complement our sensor lines by providing local stocking for our customers.  We are committed to be their supplier of choice for  High Perfomance Physical Measurement Products.
PRODUCTS :
  • Dugan Technologies offers a full range of high performance instrumentation solutions from sensors to data acquisition and signal conditioning . We sell synergistic products so that your products benefit from the leads and activity of other principals. We have a limited number of principals ensuring appropriate time to promote and sell your products.
EXPERIENCE :
  • Our sales engineers are technically proficient in all product areas and are backed by engineering backgrounds and many years of technical experience. They regularly demonstrate product capabilities for customer applications. Each sales engineer has an assigned territory and has sold into their account base for many years.
COMMISSION :
  • Our outside sales engineers are incentive driven by a commission plan that has no cap and are compensated 100% by commissions - they receive no base salary.  We return the maximum amount of commission to the sales engineer responsible for making the sale and generating the revenue. Selling is the Number 1 priority.
COMMITMENT :
  • Our sales engineers are the owners of the company; they will be with Dugan Technologies for the long term ensuring continuity of sales representation for your products.
SALES
MANAGEMENT
:
  • Our Sales Engineers are supported by an extensive web site (the one you are at now, DuganTech.com) with detail down to the data sheet level on virtually all of our products represented.  This allows the customer full access to all product catalogs so our sales people can work interactively with our customers while referring to the same data source.
  • Our sales engineers also are supported by telemarketing, literature fulfillment, and accounting personnel to maximize their time in selling your products.
  • All bingo and web site leads are qualified by the sales engineer or by our telemarketing group.  Follow-up reports are promptly sent to the principal regarding the quality of the leads and of your promotional efforts.
  • We use ACT! and other computer tools to assist in our sales management efforts.  Detailed contact and call reports are always available to our principals.
TRADE SHOWS  &
SEMINARS
:
  • We offer comprehensive support and participation in local trade shows, seminars, and special events.
  • We produce several technical seminar series, each one held in 2 or 3 different locations in California and Nevada.
  • We also conduct technical product presentations at our customer facilities as well.
